I put the film of the
title on the top of the poster to show the audience clearly what the film was
called. Originally I had put the title under the images in the middle and the
tag line 'Jessie bumps into trouble' at the top, however after observation I
realised it was not clear what the title was. I changed the tag line and review
writing from black to pink to show it is a girly film. I chose this font for
the tag line as it looked like a girls hand writing and the dots are hearts
connoting love which is what my film is about. I liked both fonts as they are
girly and soft. I put the tag line in bold so that it stands out. I put in a
tag line to tell the audience a little more about the film. I put the review on
the poster to give my target audience an idea from a reliable source of what
the film is like.
I put the
release date on the poster to inform my target audience when the film is
available to watch. I have included information at the bottom about who
produced it, directed it, who did the music and who is starring in it as if my
target audience like someone or their work they will be interested in it my
film. I have included the CRC productions logo to show visually who it is
produced by as it will be recognisable. I have included our twitter along with
the twitter logo so that the audience will instantly recognize it. I have
included the production team’s website where information on Baby On Board will
be. I have also included the Facebook logo to show the variation social media
websites we are on as some teens won’t have one or the other. I decided to put
these three things on their as in the 21st century the majority of teens
especially our target audience girls aged 16-25 are on social media and have
access to the internet both at home and out the house. All this text is in
black as it is information and is for people who are more serious about the film;
this text isn't for entertainment purposes but inform.
I decided to place one couple in
front of the other to show they are the main characters and are more important
however the characters behind have importance in the film too which is my why
included them. I chose images of them dressed up as girls stereotypically like
dressing up. I chose images where they all are smiling as it makes it look like
everyone is happy however the tag line contrast this as it shows us that the
character are not happy all the time.
